Without a doubt, the first major project of 2019 spoilt us for the rest of our careers. Not only was this 113-year-old house completely overhauled and flipped from back to front, pulling our entire team together and even giving us a chance to upskill part of our team, but this family will forever hold a special place in our heart.

Work included gutting, opening walls to extend the lounge to new kitchen, stripping the old kitchen to refurbish and reinstall, gutting and creating new bathrooms (and a bedroom) as well as painting inside and out. Replacement of doors and windows to create more flow and light, as well as a new verandah with ceiling and Cemcrete floor, was also part of the renovation.

The client was actively involved, found a few ways to save on her total project costs, and was realistic about her budget and the design vision of what she set out to achieve. No project is without stumbles but each one was met with communication, understanding and a positive result. We continue to remain in contact and enjoy coming back for minor touch ups (and dog visits!)
